Inspiration Through Art’s – Art Kit Program

Inspiration Through Art’s newest program “Art With Heart” provides specially designed art kits to our heroes going through difficult times. Through the healing power of creativity and art, Inspiration Through Art strives to help support and encourage our heroes through our special kits. Each kit contains art materials to help make long hospital stays, surgeries, and dealing with having an ill sibling a little bit easier. Kits are sent to children when they enter the hospital for treatment, surgery, are undergoing tests or procedures, have experienced a relapse, are starting palliative/hospice care, or other serious life altering changes. We also provide art kits for siblings of children who are either hospitalized or have recently passed away. We understand that siblings play a big roll in every heroes life, and we also understand that young children sometimes have a hard time expressing themselves in the midst of a health crisis.
Each kit is hand decorated by a volunteer from Mission Inspire! We make sure that every kit is catered especially for the child receiving it.
All Art kit’s contain NEW materials and come with:
-An Art With Heart workbook from Artwithheart.org (when possible)
-Colored pencils/crayons/markers
-A coloring book
-A get well card
